Question: What conditions can chiropractic care help with?

 

Answer: Chiropractic care can assist with various conditions, including back pain, neck pain, headaches, migraines, sciatica, sports injuries, joint pain, and much more. It can also support overall health and wellness. See the conditions section for me detailed conditions.

Question: Is chiropractic care safe?

 

Answer: Yes, chiropractic care is considered safe when performed by a licensed and trained chiropractor. Chiropractors undergo extensive education and training to ensure the safe and effective delivery of care. We use non-invasive techniques and avoid medications or surgery in their treatments.

Question: What should I expect during a chiropractic appointment?

 

Answer: During your first chiropractic appointment, we will conduct a thorough examination, including a medical history review, neuroscanning, functional movement assessment, x-rays if needed and metabolic questionnaire.  Additionally, we may also order diagnostic tests if needed. The second appointment we will go over your diagnosis/diagnoses, review your exam findings, give treatment recommendations, review cost of care, and provide treatment. Regular office visits typically involves chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapies, exercises and stretches and may include lifestyle recommendations such as diet, sleep, and supplementation. Question: Does chiropractic treatment hurt?

 

Answer: Chiropractic care is generally painless, but you may experience mild discomfort or soreness in the treated area, which is temporary and usually subsides quickly. We use techniques tailored to each patient's needs and comfort level.

 

Question: How long does a typical chiropractic appointment last?

 

Answer: The duration of a chiropractic appointment can vary depending on the complexity of your condition and the recommended treatment plan. Initial appointments, re-exam, and report of findings appointments often take longer, usually ranging from 45 minutes to an hour. Follow-up visits are typically shorter, averaging 15 to 30 minutes.

 

Question: Is chiropractic care covered by insurance?

 

Answer: Many health insurance plans cover chiropractic care, but the extent of coverage may vary. We are currently in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield and Medicare Part B, and out of network for all other payers. Please bring insurance information to your first appointment, so we can check your benefits and discuss those with you at your second appointment. If you have specific questions it's recommended to check with your insurance provider to determine the specifics of your coverage. Additionally, we offer affordable 0% financing options, or discounted payment plans for those without insurance.

 

Question: How many chiropractic sessions will I need?

 

Answer: The number of chiropractic sessions needed varies depending on your condition and individual circumstances. Some patients may experience relief after a few sessions, while others may require ongoing care for chronic conditions or long-term wellness maintenance. Dr. Chris will create a personalized treatment plan based on your history and exam findings.

 

Question: Can chiropractic care be used alongside other medical treatments?

 

Answer: Chiropractic care is often used in conjunction with other medical treatments. We work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. It's important to inform your chiropractor about any ongoing medical treatments or medications you are currently using.
